Why did this article catch your attention?

This article caught my attention because 900 jobs are going to be axed as Boeing’s 737 Max planes were grounded after two fatal crashes

How would this affect the 900 Ryanair employees?

This will affect the 900 Ryanair employees massively, especially financially and getting the satisfaction of doing excellent work.

They would also be affected mentally and physically.

Who else would this affect?

There are many others who would be affected by Ryanair cutting the 900 jobs. Here’s a list of others who would be affected by this?

Travelers – With 900 fewer Ryanair employees (500 Pilots and 400 Cabin Crew), there would be fewer flights. They are highly likely going to have to use another company

The Government – With all of these Ryanair employees losing their jobs, the Government would not receive taxes from the 900 Ryanair employees, until they have found alternative employment elsewhere. The Government would also have to pay out Universal Credit payment at just over £300 per month. Based on 900 people claiming £300 per month, this equates to £270,000 per month, which will be reduced for each of the 900 Ryanair employees find alternative employment elsewhere.

I am one of the 900 affected Ryanair employees. What can I do to seek alternative employment?

There are other airlines out there that you could apply to.

I have found a website that you can visit to view Pilot jobs called Aviation Job Search. Why not take a look there?
