One of my college friends and I were talking on Facebook and she explained that that she was looking for employment. I let her know that I was able to write her CV and asked her if she wanted me to write her CV, even though I was also looking for work.
I needed to be flexible with her CV and my job search.
When I asked her if she wanted me to write her CV, she jumped at the chance and asked me for my e-mail address, which I duly gave her. She sent me her current CV at that time. By the time she send me her CV, I had a look on Indeed for jobs and applied for two jobs. I then gave her five page CV a complete makeover, removing the double spacing and the first person narrative, and replaced the paragraphs with bullet points.
I improved her CV to one page within one hour around my own job search. I send her a copy via e-mail and five paper copies to her home address.
