Results: Streetwise

Running up to the Christmas period, there were over 2,000 parcels and packages to sort for several morning shifts.

I needed to sort the parcels and packages as quickly but as safely as possible, as part of a team.

I quickly read the postcodes on the address labels that were stuck to the parcels and packages and picked up those parcels and packages for my side of the non-functional conveyor belt, several at a time if I could. I then quickly walked to the cages they needed to go in and carefully placed the parcels and packages into the correct cages, making sure that they were stacked correctly so none of the parcels and packages could fall out. I replaced the full cages when required without being asked to and I stayed on when necessary to make sure that every task was successfully completed.

As a result, the parcels and packages were sorted as quickly as possible, without any accidents.
