What Have I Done Since March 2019?

I have completed lots of tasks, large and small to actively seek employment opportunities since I was made redundant from Streetwise Couriers.

So let’s take a look:

LinkedIn

Being as accurate as I possibly can, since March 2019, I have posted 461 times, commented 425 times and liked 911 times on others posts and comments

LinkedIn became extremely slow, too slow for me to use, so I decided to temporarily (hopefully) leave LinkedIn until things on LinkedIn have been resolved. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Here are the most viewed posts for LinkedIn (hundreds of views)

Company Hunts & CV Drops

I have completed 12 Company Hunts since I started actively seeking new employment opportunities.

I have also completed 3 CV Drops in the same time period.

Blogging

Since I became an active job seeker in March 2019, I had written and published 476 blog posts, where there were 734 views from 453 visitors with 74 likes.

I had noticed that for several months, the stats have been pretty flat month on month, and I am wondering why. I will be looking into this and finding a way to get the stats up, which I will discuss in an upcoming blog post on Wednesday 09 October 2019 at 15:00.

Interviews

I had five job interviews since I started actively looking for suitable employment after my redundancy in February 2019, which included LidlSainsbury’s in West Green and B&CE.

I also signed up with four Recruitment Agency, A-One Recruitment Ltd, and received several days of employment through them. I had also signed up to The Best Connection and Talented People Solution

Conclusion

I feel that I have been extremely active since I started looking for employment in March 2019 where my job search is concerned, but I know I have managed to get somewhere, with 9 days (32 hours) worth of employment through A-One Recruitment Ltd.

I will add, I will not be giving up with out a fight. If I have any days off from A-One Recruitment Ltd, I will continue working as hard as I can to find suitable employment. I will be planning several more Company Hunts in form of calls and visits. This might sound over aggressive, but this is actually called “determination“.

I would like to thank everybody who has helped me with this journey since March, and I am hoping that I can help you all in one way or another.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Notes

If you would like to know what I have completed in previous months, please click here.

I am looking to interview professionals in various departments from different sectors, so please reach out to me by LinkedIn, Twitter or e-mail (themajorblogger@gmail.com).

If you are looking for Warehouse staff, please e-mail me on visitjamiebennett@gmail.com

With LinkedIn still being extremely slow, I would recommend contacting me an alternative way.
